Introduction

Bright Beginnings Nursery Limited, registered by OFSTED, provides fully qualified, highly experienced staff committed to the care and development of pre-school children. The nursery is registered for 33 children aged between 15 months and 5 years.

The nursery is a fully self-contained and secure two-storey detached house with two large outdoor play areas.

Bright Beginnings Nursery has been established in 1998 and we were awarded the “Steps to Quality” Assurance Scheme in 2007. As Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) practitioners we aim to meet the individual needs of all the children to help them obtain the best possible start in life. As play underpins all developmental learning for young children, we provide well planned experiences based on children’s spontaneous play, both indoors and outdoors.

The aim of the nursery is to create a Bright Beginning for your child and above all, we want your child to be happy. If you would like to arrange a visit, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to show you around.

Our ethos

The aims of this nursery are:

  • To recognise that the child's needs and safety are paramount and must over ride all other considerations.
  • To provide an environment that is not only stimulating and happy but also safe.
  • To provide quality care and education for pre-school children.
  • To work in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals.
  • To take into account the children’s needs arising from race, culture, language and religion.
  • To formulate and encourage equal opportunities for both children and adults.
  • To support the children’s families.
  • To create a developmentally appropriate curriculum to meet the needs of each individual child.
  • The nursery is committed to the inclusion of children with special needs and it is our aim to work closely with parents and outside agencies.
  • To support staff on training courses enabling them to develop skills and confidence.
